Parent & Family Visit Notification
Please complete this form before visiting your child in Ireland so we can coordinate arrangements with their host family and ensure the appropriate safeguarding and parental responsibility procedures are in place.
Visiting your child in Ireland
We are always delighted when parents and family members have the opportunity to visit their children during their stay in Ireland. Spending time together can be a wonderful part of the experience, and we are happy to help ensure that visits run smoothly.
To help us coordinate arrangements with your child's host family and fulfil our safeguarding responsibilities, we ask that all visits are registered with us in advance, even if you have already discussed your plans directly with the host family. This allows us to know when your child will be spending time with you, confirm the relevant arrangements and ensure everyone is kept informed. Please complete the short form below before your visit.
Advance notice
We recommend submitting your plans at least 14 days before your arrival, wherever possible. Please notify us as soon as your travel arrangements are known.
Visiting the host family
Parents are welcome to arrange a lunch, dinner or informal meeting with the host family, subject to their availability. However, we kindly ask parents not to request overnight accommodation in the host family's home.
Parental responsibility
When students spend time away from their host family under the supervision of their parents or an authorised adult, we require a signed declaration confirming the arrangements and acceptance of responsibility for the agreed period.
